Two weeks ago, we explored the beautiful city of Berlin, for the first time. We booked our flights, way back in November, when we found a great deal; $40 return for the two of us. Finding accommodation is always a challenge, especially when traveling to a new city. It’s hard to know which areas are safe, what is centrally located, etc. Luckily, we found a great place to stay in Berlin at the Holiday Inn Berlin City Center East-Prenzlauer Allee.
Last Saturday, we headed off to Berlin for five days. This was my first time in the German Capital & I can’t wait to start exploring! It will be our first trip to 2018, if you don’t count our flight back to Budapest on New Year’s Day. With so many things to see & do in a new city, I started planning a few weeks before the trip. These are some of my favourite ways to plan a trip!
As I prepare for my first trip of 2017, I decided to sit down & try to plan out my 2018 travels. There’s so many places to see, yet it seems like there’s so little time, especially as a full time teacher! So choosing 5 destinations, seems quite realistic and do-able. So here is my 2018 Travel Bucket List!
One of my favourite quotes is “Travel is the only thing you buy in life, that makes you richer”. There is so many benefits that come with traveling. I created Travelette as a place to share my thoughts and document my journey as I travel city by city. Here are some reasons why I love traveling & you should too!
London, is a beautiful city with so much to see and do. With so many attractions, at so many different prices, it can get overwhelming to choose from the ongoing list. Back in October, it was my first time visiting London, I was eager to see the magical city from above. And that’s when I was constantly hearing about the Sky Garden.
